The Sunnybank Lions Club is looking forward eagerly to staging The World's Best Little Art & Craft Show: our 7th in a row. It is to be held in the Lions' Hall, 95 Lister St Sunnybank, 16-18th April. Among our beneficiaries is the Lions Medical Research Foundation, funding research right here at the PA Hospital.
We will be hanging 150 works of superb quality, priced from $100 and mostly of a size suitable for a home or small office. The artists will be competing for up to $2000 in prize money. Thirty talented craft workers will have on sale a great range of craft suitable for Mother's Day presents.
By attendance patrons will:
- Have a really enjoyable time at a local suburban venue
- Encourage the dedicated art and craft workers
- Support Personality Quest/Lions Medical Research Foundation
- Most certainly find a delightful item for a Mother's Day present and/or a pleasing painting for home or office
We are very appreciative of the grant by the Brisbane City Council under the Lord Mayor's Suburban Iniative Fund through Councillor Graham Quirk, the generous financial support of Metropolitan Funerals and web page assistance by Synchromedia.
The show is to be opened at a gala event at 6pm on Friday 16th April
The show is open:
- 5pm-8pm Friday 16th April entry by ticket $15 with champagne and canapes
- 10am-4pm Saturday 17th April entry $5 includes a cuppa and Anzac biscuit
- 10am-4pm Sunday 18th April entry $5 includes a cuppa and Anzac biscuit
